More pictures from my 2014 European Vacation

For those of you that enjoyed the first installment, here's more pictures.

Picture 1: scene from my gondola ride in Venice. I was on a gondola next to the one shown. The gondolier was gorgeous. Mine was busy smoking and dancing and talking to his buddies.

Picture 2: The best hot chocolate in the world and I don't even like hot chocolate. Paris really has food to die for.

Pic 3: Flamenco show in Barcelona. We followed that with a wonderful tapas dinner. Tapas are small plates.

Pic 4: Mykonos, Greece. Beautiful scenery and lovely jewellery. We enjoyed the scenery and bought unique jewellery as gifts.

Pic 5: You might have noticed by now that we loved Venice.

Pic 6: At the Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace, the Gold Stage Coach used at the Golden Jubilee.

Thanks RosesLady. The picture doesn't do it justice. It was very regal.

That hot chocolate was delicious. I bought it only because they are known for it. I didn't expect to like it since I don't usually like hot chocolate. I wish I could have brought some home with me.

Thanks so much, Maudie1. I'd love to go back there one day too. I hope you get to go there again. Everyone should experience Venice at least once in their lifetime.

Thanks Diane. It's wonderful that today we can have pics but more importantly, videos of our trips. My sister disliked me using my video camera all over the place but I insisted. Every now and then, I watch the videos and feel like I'm back on my trip again.

Thanks very much, Lyn. The hot chocolate tasted great at Angelina. When I came back home, I had a hot chocolate here and no comparison. We loved the jewellery and spent too much time shopping. Oh well. It was fun.

Hi Elaine: What spectacular photos. Love that Greek city where all the buildings are white, and would love to see those Flamenco dancers in Spain. I can do a little Flamenco..it's like tap dancing but with more emotion. Both hard on the knees and hips.

I'm glad you liked my pictures, thatbilguy. I wanted to see the statue of David at the Ufifizi Gallery at our Florence stop but unfortunately it wasn't an option as a share excursion. I did see the copy of the David and it most likely will pop up in a future installment of my trip.

Thanks so much, bijou. I'll stick to watching flamenco dancing. lol It's great that you know how to actually know how to do that dance.

Mykonos was beautiful but I will show the Amalfi Coast in a future blog post.
