Bowling on the green Well the hot weather is almost done so its getting cooler out on the green. The men have been doing Super challenge so we have been traveling to a few club. Love to hear from other bowlers out there about their club.

CarolynVII, We have also indoor carpet bowls. Neither are anything like ten pin if that's what you were asking. We have 4 bowls, depending how many you are playing with, if its a triples team you play with 3 if its 4 to a team its 2 bowls if its pairs or singles it is 4 bowls. there is a jack (a little ball) that is rolled first and the aim is to roll your bowl as close as possible to the jack, Have you ever seen Bacchi being played in parks. You can find info on Google about the game

Our Club has carpet which means we can bowls 7 days a week, only problem is we have not been able to get a grant to have shad as yet. Our boys came in 4th at Super challenge, better luck next year
