The Best Exotic Salsas

Making a salsa that is so special and delicious has got to be because you do have a very special moment in your life and you wish to share it with someone eating what you know is your best dish. Perhaps your dish may not call for a spicy salsa to go with it but, why not give it a try. These recipes are my favorite ones. In some, I have made changes myself and added flavor to them. Believe me, you will like them a lot. I recommend not using your hands to hold the chile manzano for it is extremely hot. If you inadvertedly touch your eyes after you have touched it you may cause a lot of eye burning in your eye.

Pineapple and Chile Manzano
(Extremely hot salsa)

1 Small Pineapple
1/2 onion
1 Chile Manzano (It is a small round yellow pepper with black seeds inside)

Wash the Pineapple, the onion, and the chile manzano.
Peel the pineapple and dice it into small cubes.
Chop the onion finely
Using a fork and a knife cut the manzano pepper into small thin slices. In a large bowl, mix all of the ingredients well. Add salt to your taste.

This salsa goes great with pizza, meats, and soft tortilla tacos.

You may substitute the chile manzano for 5 serrano peppers diced into small pieces.

Jicama Salsa with Lime Juice and Manzano Pepper

1 Large Jicama
2 large limes
1/2 Onion
1 manzano pepper
Salt to your taste

Wash the jicama, the limes, the onion, and the manzano pepper.
Peel the jicama and slice it thin, you could even use the cheese grater.
Dice the onion very finely and using a fork and a knife, slice the manzano pepper very thinly, In a bowl, mix the jicama, the onion, the manzano pepper, add the salt to your taste, and squeeze the lime juice of the limes in it.
Mix it well. Serve with meats, tacos, as a salad dressing also on top of a tossed salad.

Chile Manzano and Red Onion Salsa with Lime Juice

1 chile manzano
1 Red onion
2 limes
Salt to your taste

Wash the chile, the onion, and the two limes.
Slice the onion very thin. Using a fork and a knife, slice the manzano pepper into thin slices. In a bowl, mix the red onion, the manzano pepper, add salt to your taste, and squeeze the lime juice over the onion and chile.
This salsa is delicious with meats and soft tortilla tacos.

Red Chili Salsa in Peanut Oil

This salsa is delicious to enjoy with meats and all of your favorite dishes.

15 red chiles de arbol (small red thin chiles) or, 8 red dried PULLA peppers
1/4 cup of peanut oil
2 small garlic cloves

Wash the red chiles, take the stems off.
In a pan, heat the peanut oil and add the chiles and the garlic. Once the chiles and the garlic have fried for about 3 minutes as you stir them. Put the chiles, the garlic, and the little oil in the blender. Simply crush them in the blender. Add salt to your taste. Put in a small bowl.

I understand that many of you possibly do not eat chile but, I recommend eating jicama and pineapple. They are really great together in any salads.
