Gee candleman, did our chat today get you to thinking about this? LOL Now I know darn well, you knew I was joking with ya. I would not expect to own anyone no matter if we dated, lived together without marriage, or were legally married, or were paying the bills by myself(although I would expect that other person to get a job and help out) No one person can own another, although you will find in some relationships both the male and female truly believe that they own the other. Somewhat misguided notions I would have to say. Its generally a 50/50 situation or should be.

Ohhh if either party feels owned ..there is something very wrong in their realtionship....I say "I am his" but that does not mean he owns me it means I entrust my heart & soul to him.......and who pays for material things should not be any issue at all...this sounds way off from a real relationship.....and if anyone feels like a slave they should RUN...RUN very fast & far.....women demanding equal pay for equal work was about fairness and fairness in a relationship is equality also.....and communication is the key to each person getting what they require in making a good sound relationshipRED Some believe in destiny, some believe in fate. I believe that happiness is something we create
