cruel temptress

creator of passionate dreams
you cruel temptress of my soul
you steal my sensibilities
even in the light
you dark beautiful cat
that prowls the earth..
looking for men to devour
you wanderer

that appears in my life
robs me of my ties
to this world
focuses my thoughts
only on you..
of extreme skill
you lover

your body sways
controlling the beat
of my heart
oh, cover me
owner of my body..
and my mind
you conqueror

how long
can i withstand
your lure
before i grab
hold of you..
and we become one
for eternity?
