I didn't know there was a grand canal in Dublin.. it sure blends in with the cement. There are some great canals around the world.

Beautiful building, presuming the water is below the wall and fencing.

Hi RedRidingHood, Thats the Customs House, Dublin, and the river running along in front of it is the River Liffey. Its all within walking distance of the city centre. Beautiful picture of the Customs House. you will find all the information on that building and surrounding area on the web. I suppose it was raining

Robyn ~~ Thank you, thank you! I knew you'd help me out! At the time that I told myself I would remember the name of the building and the name of the waterway. LOL

The day we were there it was a beautiful, very warm day. Not a drop of rain!!

I'm sorry we didn't catch up with each other that day. Would have loved to sat and had coffee with ya.
