Should I transfer to WallyWorld in Hawaii?

Yesterday, I was on the cell phone talking to my older in Georgia telling him about all the wonderful sites in Lexington, Virginia.

I told him about working at Wal-Mart in Texas and Nevada but found it difficult to adjusting to a land with no Forest, Hills and Rivers.

"Yeah, I know what you mean. Grantsville, Georgia sucks because there is NO BEACH!" Josh replied.

"Well Josh, you fell in love with a Peach and you have to be where the Peaches grow." I advised him.

"They only grow in special kinds of soil," He
surmised.

I told him that I can work anywhere I want because there are WallyWorlds all over the United States, and I am thinking of transfering someplace exciting like Alexandia, Virginia or Florida or perhaps North Carolina. Maybe even Georgia.

"Why Not Hawaii," my suggested. Heck there is even a Wal-Mart in China but you might have to learn Chinese. Naw, I don't think I will move to China but Rhode Island is a possibility.

Star:

I too have a roving spirit. I've moved around quite a bit in my life. I worked 4 yrs on a remote military base in the Indian Ocean. I was a government contractor for the US Airforce. I've lived in Georgia, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada and now in Arizona. My hubby Mac finally settled me down. I don't wish to roam anymore and really enjoy the way life has become more settled and grounded.

Good luck in any move you should decide. BTW. Alexandria is a beautiful place. I visited there December 2005.

star, i recommend going into management at walmart. transferring as an hourly isn't as easy as you think and you get no cost of living gap or the move paid for as an hourly employee. rent in hawaii is outrageous as is the cost of living...i was a marketing manager for sam's club for 12 years. and i moved around quite a bit.

Cost of living in Hawaii is very spendy.

I'm looking to the future and it's out of sight,
only in the end shall I take flight.

Star , If you decide on Hawaii , The sticker price on the cost of living may cause you to reconsider ..
