Are Americans Really Amoral and NonSpiritual????

And if we're going to do that then we first need to understand that Americans are a religious people. 90 percent of us believe in God, 70 percent affiliate themselves with an organized religion, 38 percent call themselves committed Christians, and substantially more people in America believe in angels than they do in evolution. quoted by Barack Obama
Believe In God
Believe there is No God
Affiliate Yourself with an Organized Religion
Don't Care For Organized Religions
Consider Yourself A Commited Christian
Believe In Angels
Believe in Evolution
Consider Yourself Spiritual but not Religious
Ad Infinitum
A Combination There Of Expain

I have been trying to beleive in god my whole life...and i think i'm almost there now .......... however ....the point you brought up is the exact reason for my doubt ......why would god or a religion have a rule that states you must believe in me or you don't go to heaven or wherever believers are supossed to go ....what about how you actualy live your life...in other words how about a person who lives their whole life being kind and compasssionate to all people ...does not hate or judge people ...is honest trustworty...but is not convinced that a god exists ....
will this person be banned from eternal life while some other god believing person who secretly hates his neighbor is self centered ...and somewhat of a hypocrite yet this person goes to the great reward....I have never quite understood why heaven should be some sort of a secret club where as long as you say you believe your in and if your not sure your out .......

Mrs Joe. If I may. I find that adding an extra space before or after the use of double quotes, especially if other special characters are nearby, may help to prevent that.
