The Adventures of Finding an X-Mas Turkey at Wally World

Personally if I had my way, the X-Mas Feast would consist of stir fry tofu and veggies with indonesian peanut sauce but other people have different ideas. Sushi with Wasabi would be delightful but certain Texans would suggest that Sushi can be found at a bait shop.

We are not doing X-Mas on X-mas because Gene is on the road. We are doing it a few days later. Gene's looked for a turkey at Brookshire and they cost too much. She suggested that I acquire one at Wally World because they are suppose to have lower prices. $$$$$$ Challenges are the reality at this time.

I bee-bopped to work this morning and during my lunch break - I asked a co-worker or co-associate which the politically correct term for this company, "What is the Company Policy on shopping during a lunch break?" She assure me that it okay to do anything I want within reason during my time.

I took off the work jacket. I don't want customers asking where things are when I really don't know where they are on my own time. I usually have to find somebody who does. I went on the quest for the perfect turkey.

The Turkeys were just as outrageously priced as the one's at Brookshire. There was enough $$$$$ to purchase a turkey the size of a Chicken after I calculated the taxes. I figured taxes have to be outrageous in Texas. I was quite surprised to learn that Texas does not Tax Turkeys. Does this mean that Dubya doesn't have to pay taxes? Still, It's a good thing that Gene likes Ham better than Turkey because he is not going to get a whole lot of Turkey from the Chicken Turkey.

I will actually get my first paycheck before we do the X-mas Dinner thingie. I plan to buy Gene some Jalepeno Bread and perhaps new tires for his truck. I will get an employee discount on the tires but not the bread.

Since I work in the bakery, I would like to design him a cake. He likes Football so perhaps a cake with Joe Namath Versus the Dallas Cowboys who lost their last game.
He also likes Nascar so perhaps a Pink Cake with Jeff Gordon in Drag That is his opinion of Jeff Gordon. He likes Dale Junior Better. The Kind of Cake that I would LIKE to make Gene, I don't think my employer would let me make on company time.
