The Joys of Moving and Thank God For Small Miracles When my marriage went officially South four years ago, I told my now ex-hubby that he could have the house and everything in it. My and I shared a one bedroom apartment. He had the Bedroom and I stayed in the Living Room. A year later, we moved into a three bedroom house in the country. I always knew that eventually I would relocate and follow the love connection. The Love Connection has come on the Horizon. I've given my landlord notice and he has the place rented out thus I have been packing for the Move to Texas. It is amazing how much Stuff, I've managed to accumulate in the four years. It's mind boggling. Most of the Stuff, I would rather leave behind - Why drag a bunch of stuff to Texas that can easily be replaced on the other side. The things that are important to me are my computer with programs, My astrology books, Ferlin the Mutt and my GPS Unit. They come to Texas with me. For the past two weekends, I've held moving sales but it's been raining and raining. Most folks don't want the check out yard sales in rural areas on rainy days. Some stuff can go to a thrift shop, some to the recycling center, some can go to the used book store and some in the trash. My biggest concern was the furniture. This morning I was talking to my Texas Hottie on the phone. There was a knock on my door. It was the new tenants. A married couple with no furniture. They have some now. Do you think God might have made it rain so that couple could have the furniture?  Abracadabra  |
