It is interesting how some individuals will stereotype a whole group of people without bothering to talk to them. They get their information on Social Media or courtesy of Yellow Journalism.

According to them - Democrats are pure as new driven snow while Republicans make the devil good or visa versa. Most folks regardless of political leanings are inherently good despite having a few shortcomings.

Personally, I think the two parties balance each other out. I remember when West Virginia was predominantly Democrat. Folks said that if they didn't register Democrat that there would be no one to vote for. West Virginia was the state the flip the electoral college when Bush Junior ran for President.

The State tends to be conservative regardless of political party. During the past decade or so, the state has become more and more Red until it flipped completely during the last Presidential election.

Hillary might have had a chance until she opened her mouth about closing all the coal mines. Messing with someone's livelihood is not a ticket to popularity.

I was at an event last week and a man just out of High School is running for the GOP Excutitive Committee. I've seen him and the other Young Conservatives in action. I assured him that he definitely had my vote. He mentioned that they really wanted me to run as well. I told him that I am way too busy with my activism and lobbying through FCNL and ASFC. He advised me that as a lobbyist, I wouldn't be qualified to be on the committee anyway. It works for me. I would rather see him on it.

The Elmer Fudd sign was in our town during the elections and made it to Don Junior's Twitter.

Won't get many comments on a Wepubwicans post in this place but just 207 days to the Mid-terms.

Some democrats decided to drop out of the race this year. I'm sure some are retiring, but others know they can't win. My rep decided to drop out of the race as well, guess she figured it out that she had a snowball's chance of winning this year against a RINO, or maybe realizes that a RINO is better than a democrat and can get more done.
