Christmas Eve 2020, Covid-19, and the Bethlehem Star

I learned along time ago, not put expectations on the Holidays and be willing bend the traditions make them work better for my family.

My husband and I would do the do the gift exchanging with the boys Yule and let them have Christmas celebrations with the other parent on the actually day of Christmas. When financial realities have been tough, I've also sent them gifts for January 7th aka Christmas. The last decade, my younger and I go the local Chinese Restaurant for Christmas. It is not happening this year.

We met today to do a gift exchange. For , he would ask what I want and I suggested a Farmer's Almanac. It takes financial pressure off of him, and it's something that I use for the year. Last year he decided do something different. A scented wax warmer. This year, he gifted me with the same thing. I kind of shook my head and said thank you. When I took the gift out the box and plugged it in. I was impressed at how carefully he thought it out. It was scented wax warmer with a Fairy Light Spirit Tree inside. I gave him his present. A care package from Amazon Pantry. I didn't even open it when it arrived He hasn't been working much because of Covid-19. Mama always feeds her babies.

Tonight I went to the Step Meeting. We are so fortunate still be open while others are closed. There is a young man that I've connected with. I had done his Natal and Solar Return Charts and we decided go over them AFTER the meeting.

It is amazing how I can use divination steer someone in a positive direction. We were talking about the Christmas Star. Jupiter/Saturn Conjunction. I pointed out where it was in his chart. Saturn is the challenges and lessons that life present. It's in Capricorn it's own ruling sign which bodes well despite the lessons which are not always fun. Jupiter is where our luck is. It conjunction is transforming difficult lessons into good fortune. It was in his 3rd house of childhood home, siblings, and communication. I advised him to focus on 3rd house issues in the 4th Step. It will cause the rest of step to fall into place. It is important to start somewhere.

There was a year sitting with us. I did a Tarot reading for him. Sage advise that his mother would give him but he'll hear it better from someone else. Focus on education and not so much of female interaction. Books before P*ssy. After the reading, he got a phone call from his mother telling him that he just received a $20.000 educational grant. CONFIRMATION!!!! This Christmas will be different but it is still meaningful.

What a cute wax warmer, and very insightful of your son. My son and daughter in law once gave me a Scentsy warmer that has crosses on each side. My other two are simple round ones in a marbled color that I like. I've tried several different brands of was, but found the ones at Walmart to be just as good as the more expensive ones. Right now, I'm enjoying those with a Christmas pine and bayberry scent. I turn them on for a while in the morning, and then off, but the aroma is still noticeable, then I might turn them on for awhile again later in the day. I only change the wax about every three days.
I know some people use regular candle wax and essential oils of their favorite fragrances.
Merry Christmas, Star.
