What I've Learned From Protests and Finding Love On The Trump Train

I love it when armchair critics blog about issues they've never experienced and need a trip to the clue factory.

I've been to the Women's March and the Global Warming March in Washington D.C. My Quaker Girlfriend and I were with the Delaware River Keepers when we were escorted out of the FERC building by the secret police. I've even been to a Black Lives Matter Protest. All of the protests that I've been to have been peaceful. We were high-fiving the police at the Women's March.

I had plans to go to the protest in Charlottesville, Virginia but the West Virginia State Fair beckoned instead. That was definitely my Higher Power protecting me.

I can be an activist and advocate for Environmental Protection, Racial Justice, Economic Prosperity, Immigration Reform, Ad Infinitum regardless of what side of the political fence, I reside.

One of the things I learned from all of the protests is "Don't engage with the agitators." Their only goal is to cause trouble and make the other side look bad.

It seems to be that there are a few individual on this blog site who are also agitators. When someone spams a blog site, whatever message they are trying to convey gets lost.

Sooooooo ........... Can I find love on the Trump Train? My riding partner was a married preacher's wife. I've been working primarily with married Church Ladies. I am not really inclined that way and I am definitely not interested in borrowed toys.

What the agitator calls D*ck on the Trump Train. I call LOVE on the Trump Train. Miracles happens and life does have it surprises. No matter, I helped to quite a few GOP's get elected and that will bode well for West Virginia and the United States. That is the true labor of LOVE!!!

After my girlfriend and I were escorted out of the FERC building, we hiked over to the Senate Buildings and lobbied on Environmental Protection.

Personally, I've only met one federal politician. It was years ago, he was running for office, and actually out in his district campaigning house to house in the country. We not only asked for our vote, he asked what mattered to us the most.
That was back in the days when it seemed DC actually worked together to get things accomplished instead of fighting and name calling. Hmmm, perhaps the blogs are just a reflection of DC ?

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
