Women's March Versus Trump Train & SANITY!!!!

I have participated in BOTH!!! Women's March 2016 - We took a rally bus to Washington D.C. I didn't hate Trump, he had only been in office ONE day. I was and still am in favor of racial justice, environmental protection, economic well being, immigration reform, my and to have a shot at the American Dream, Ad Infinitum.

My partner was drinking huge quantities of caramel flavored vodka which is potentially problematic and scary. I generally like to stay on the outskirts of a protest but my partner wanted to jump right in the middle of that Mosh Pit. We had to pack ourselves like sardines inside the commuter train to get back to the rally bus. It wasn't a whole lot of fun.

We are back in town. The GOP are coming to town. It's snowing like crazy. The Women's Club wants to stand outside the Greenbrier and wave signs. No Thanks!
They are having a meeting at the WV State Fairgrounds. Lets drive around, honking horns during the meetings. I don't think so. Pence is coming to town. What a great idea it is to stand in the rain on the airport lawn with middle fingers directed at the Vice President. Whatever!

Election year 2020, I am now an active member of the Grand Old Party. We had a Trump Train on Halloween. According to organizers over 650 vehicles participated in the Trump Train Parade. I rode with a Preacher's Wife. We had chocolate and granola bars instead of vodka. There were a few Thumbs Down, Some reported getting middle fingers. One woman was screaming obscenities' and kicking motorcycles. All and all, it was a far more positive experience versus the Women' March.

SANITY ON THE TRUMP TRAIN!!!

Truth Be Known, I love participating in any kind of historical event. When I talk to my grandkids, I can tell them where I've been and what I've done. The joy of being an activist that gets things done. That is the definition of Sanity.

Each views events through their own experiences and opinions, but there is no need to attack someone else for having a different viewpoint on an issue. I doubt that many of us have had the experiences that you have with actual politicians in DC or even on the local or county level.
BTW, I smiled at your pink hat.... you exchanged one pink hat for another, eh?

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
