The Wisdom of Quaker Women, Book Club Buddies & Mrs. Joe Every time, I see a doctor, I am always afraid they will try to put me on another medication. I remember my husband taking a handful of pills three times a day and that is the scenerio I would like to avoid. A few years ago, I ended up in ICU because of the side effects of medication which results in blood transfusions and other horrors. Mrs. Joe gave me Ezekiel 16:6. A woman from my Quaker meeting was using Bone Broth. I decided to do the same and it eased the malady. A lady from my book club gave me turmeric roots. I planted one and now I have a plant. It helps with inflammation There was a conversation a few week ago about the maladies of holiday feasting which I can totally relate. Mrs. Joe mentioned that her doctor advised Marshmallow and Ginger Tea but the the capsules are much more palatable. I received a package in the mail today. Bone Broth with Ginger and Turmeric, Marshmallow Root capsules and Ginger Root Capsules. Dang, I can get rid of arthritic pain, say bye to digestive pain, inflammation to the curb, protect the heart and maybe even say "Boo!" to Covid-19 if it comes knocking at my door. |

Well, they ain't miracle cures, but they sure do help me. I tried the turmeric on the advice of an SFF friend, whose holistic doc had recommended it to her for inflammation in her joints. It bothered my stomach and even though I tried a couple different kinds, I just couldn't tolerate it. Glad it worked for her though. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
