FlippingTheCountyRed

II sure do LOVE hanging out with the winners. West Virginia has always been Democrat and conservative regardless of political party. The past few years, West Virginians have been switching parties.

The local Democrat Women's Club reminded me of the cliques where I was never able be a part of. There was an inner circle of elite women that expected the rest sheepies. I have never done well as a bench warmer. I have been an activist all of my life.

Finally, they went too far. Enough is enough. West Virginians started making the switch to Republican including myself.

The Greenbrier County Republican Club started a movement to flip the county with a Republican Majority. I helped to register 4 people to Republican in my apartment building. These were folks who hadn't voted in a lone time. One gentleman had never voted. I registered my next door neighbor as an Independent. .

Yesterday, I was at the Republican Headquarters. We have three in the county. A lady asked how she could switch her party from Democrat to Republican. Dang, I was able to do it for her on my phone. Today, a married couple came in and we did the same. We are going to leave those Democrats trailing WAY behind.

Two weeks ago, Vice President Mike Pence came to town. The Democrat Women's club stood on the airport lawn and gave the Vice President the middle finger as he was leaving the airport. Now they are driving around giving all the Trump signs the bird. It's such mature behavior.

I would rather be a working class activist that on the outside looking the circle of elitists grown women who act like malcontent toddlers.

It's much for satisfactory to be with the winners.

As the old saying goes, "all politics is local"..... working on our own piece of the world can do a lot more good for others, than fighting and squabbling about DC politics.

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
