Mennonites, Quakers & Lobbying Adventures

It has been a busy week. I meet Deni , Margaret and Hallie at the train station on Sunday. We spent Sunday evening at International Guest House having High Tea with the Mennonites. It was an awesome experience because I have encountered Mennonites while working retail but they don't chat like the other customers. It was interesting to learn that not all Mennonites women wear pioneer dresses with head coverings.

People often compare Quakers with the Mennonites but we are not alike at all. Quakers are historically activists which is why I was attracted to them. I am a born social reformers always trying to make the world a happier, safer, fairer, better place.

Thus SAYMA Earth Care merits a trip to the Capital. Our plans to stay at the William Penn House fell through thus the next two day were spent on the floor of Trinity Lutheran Church.

We were driven around Washington DC by various Taxi and Uber Drivers driven the African Muslim Immigrates. One became a citizen. Another one is educating himself so that he can go back and improve his country.

We mastered the Metro and trudged the hallow halls in the Senate Buildings trying to educate our Senators about FERC"S Abuse of Power and Law. I don't care what end of the political spectrum a person may be. NOBODY wants their property seized using the guise of eminent do·main and having that property ripped apart so that big corporation can acquire the fossil fuels for export. It's unconstitutional and wrong.

I wonder why nothing seems to post until it has a comment...... but if nobody sees it, how can they comment? Dah!
