un·a·pol·o·get·ically Working Class I purchased a new laptop and none of my passwords were saved thus I had a heck of a time getting back on to the Senior FriendFinder Site. Quite a few of the members have switched over FB and after reading some of these blogs, I totally understand why. People are really getting ugly with each other over political differences. I can't fix the world but I wish that instead of building that wall - we can build a giant mirror as a reflection of what we have become. A paying customer being dragged off an airplane on United is a perfect example. A capitalist system where people are not valued. The answer - BOYCOTT!!! It worked in Atlanta, Birmingham and Greenbrier County, West Virginia. Black people were paying for the privileged of being good n*ggers and sitting in the back of the bus because the superior white folks get the front. Rosa Parks was arrested for refusing to give up her seat to a White man. Why should they give money to a company that treats them like they are subhuman. They organized a boycott. They also boycotted all the other businesses with the Jim Crow Mindset. This snowballed and folks started boycotting businesses in Greenbrier County, West Virginia among other places. Politically, I am in the middle leaning to the left. I have a good friend who is in the middle leaning to the right. We can still be friends and NOT call each other ugly names. We both want the same thing. We just have different opinions on how they should be accomplished.  Abracadabra  |
