Foto Friday - Holiday Spirit, Three Wise Men and Mooning Santa!!!

I actually have more fun giving presents verus receiving them. I figure - Why be good all year just to get a few trinkets from Santa Yeah Right! Life on Life's Terms.

Finding the Right X-Mas Card was the Real Challenge. I found one with Santa Mooning but won't send that to everyone. I usually try to find a card with "Holiday Greetings" verus "X-Mas Greetings) to respect everyone's Spiritual Beliefs. Nevertheless, according to Irish or perhaps Russian Folklore, it's good luck to receive a card with the Three Wise Men.

The card she told me you put there is the Three Wisemen or the Three Kings Card
what it means - is you will have Good Luck and Good Wealth that year.
So now that you know my story decide for yourself which card goes were.
May all your Luck and Wealth come true.
God's Blessings Vicki

"The tradition in most of Central Europe involves writing the initials of the three kings' names above the main door of the home to confer blessings on the occupants for the New Year.
For example, (You put the year it is at the beginning and end) The western church had the names (Caspar, Melchior and Balthasar "

First I found a box of cards conveying Holiday Blessings, Next, I found the Three Wise Men Cards at the Dollar Store.

I've decided to send Everyone BOTH Cards. My Sister gets three including the Mooning Santa.

I also enjoy receiving Christmas cards. We usually do the traditional thing of placing them on or around the mantle. Sometimes, those cards are the only letters/notes we receive from some folks. At one time, I used to send out well over 100 cards per year --- hangover from the military years. But as the cost of postage rose, and the correspondence diminished, we cut back. But we still believe in greetings by mail, as opposed to e-mail greeting cards.

I think we all like to receive cards, don't we? Thanks.

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

Past time we received many Christmas cards by mail. But a few years ago it seems the e-mail technology has cut that tradition. Nowadays all is more practical...
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU!
