to pay or not to pay I am totally modern, liberated woman. I have no problem contacting men first. But I take exception to those of you who refuse to pay for a membership. If your purpose is just to chat fine then you don’t need to pay but if you truly want to meet someone (and that is suppose to be the main point of this site is it not?) You need to cough the money for a membership. It is my opinion that non-paying members are NOT serious in meeting someone since it is not possible for them to see profiles or initiate contact unless you do pay. Non-paying members are sitting back and waiting to be contacted. I feel that is really self centered and egotistical not to mention cowardly. I personally do not contact men who are not paying members because they are very un gallant and I wonder what else they expect me to do for them. And even in this day of liberation chivalry still has its place.

Meeting someone is not the main purpose for me. I think it extremely unlikely that I will find a compatible woman within driving distance using this mechanism. My purpose is to have cybercontact with some interesting people around the world. As far as being an non-pyaing member goes, it's not self-centeredness or egotism - I'm just cheap.
