THAT PRETTY MUCH SOUNDS LIKE THE POLICE RAIDS IN DRUG INFESTED PARTS OF TOWNS HERE. MASSIVE RAIDS, A FEW ARRESTS, SUBSTANCES AND WEAPONS DISCOVERED AND THEN 24 HOURS LATER THE AREA IS BACK TO NORMAL. EVERYTHING AS JUST BEFORE. A LOT OF HYPE FOR MEAGER RESULTS.

I swear they don't even try here. I support drop testing for welfare, as well as all jobs. I think rehab needs to be better funded and mandatory for any and all public benefits. I know it will never happen, but small steps would be an improvement. Any steps in that matter.

This seems to be a problem in most countries now. Too many people with no where for them to live. The powers that be don't seem to be able to get a handle on the problem either. I don't know where it's all going to end. It's a sad and serious situation.

Just more big show tactics. How many "wars" have our government waged on social issues, like drugs and poverty? And in every case, the situations just seem to get worse and worse. Do I have a solution? No, but change has to start with love and compassion and work. And change can start on a small scale, one life or family at a time.... not some whole sale public show that costs taxpayers millions of dollars and does nothing but move the problem around. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
